Bay City Players is a volunteer-based community theater dedicated to providing high quality theatrical experiences for the entertainment, education, and enrichment of the community.

From its beginning in 1917 as the Bay City Art Club, Bay City Players has a rich history of providing entertaining and educational theatrical experiences to the Great Lakes Bay Region.

Bay City Players has been awarded a grant of $15,000 for operational support from the State of Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs (MCACA). 

The grant was awarded through the MCACA peer review process and Bay City Players was one of 233 applications to compete for MCACA fiscal year 2013 funding.
