Lending
POLICY ON LOANS OF COSTUMES, PROPS AND SET PIECES
- Bay City Players will loan out costumes, set pieces and props to area schools, other community theaters and individuals as deemed appropriate by the Season Chairperson.
- Anyone wishing to borrow property from Bay City Players must first contact the appropriate Season Chairperson.
- The Season Chairperson or designate, will verify that the property is going to a reliable person and coordinate the pickup, distribution and return of the property.
- Any one borrowing property must fill out a check out form completely and describe exactly what is being removed, who is responsible for it, who gave permission to take it, and when it will be returned.
- The borrower is responsible for returning the property in the same or better condition than received. Costumes must be cleaned.
- The borrower is responsible for replacement or repair of any items, lost, damaged or stolen.
- Upon return of the property, the Season Chairperson, or designate, must sign the material in, indicating that it was received in good condition.
- Property not designated for loan, or of great value (greater than $500) must be requested of, and approved by the Board of Directors.
- Failure to follow this Policy by the borrower or their designate will result in losing the privilege of borrowing property from Bay City Players.
